Psychosocial Support
At Thamini Binti, we understand that emotional and mental wellbeing are essential for personal growth, confidence, and healing. Many girls, women, widows, and vulnerable children face emotional challenges caused by trauma, poverty, discrimination, abuse, loss, and social pressures. Our psychosocial support program is designed to provide safe spaces where individuals feel heard, supported, and empowered.
Through counseling sessions, mentorship programs, peer support groups, and wellness activities, we help individuals build resilience, self-esteem, and emotional strength.
Our psychosocial support initiatives focus on:
- Mental and emotional wellbeing
- Trauma healing and recovery support
- Confidence and self-esteem building
- Guidance and mentorship for girls and young women
- Safe spaces for open conversations and sharing experiences
- Stress management and life skills development
- Community support for widows, orphans, and survivors of GBV
We also work closely with community leaders, caregivers, counselors, and partners to ensure individuals receive compassionate care and access to the support they need.
By nurturing emotional wellbeing and promoting positive mental health, we aim to help every individual regain hope, discover their potential, and thrive within their communities.
